Topical retinoids act on the earliest step in acne — the plugged follicle — which is why dermatology guidelines position them as the foundation of most acne regimens rather than an add-on.
Compounded Tretinoin Topical
$99/mo*
A topical retinoid that supports faster skin cell turnover and helps keep pores from clogging. Compounded so the strength and base can be matched to your skin rather than pulled off a shelf.
Compounded tretinoin is not FDA-approved. Increases sun sensitivity; daily broad-spectrum SPF is part of the protocol. Prescription only; dispensed after medical evaluation.
Fast, discreet shipping
Unlimited follow-up with licensed physicians

HOW TRETINOIN WORKS
Glucose control.
Tretinoin is a vitamin A derivative that binds retinoic acid receptors in skin cells. Activating those receptors changes how quickly cells turn over and how readily they shed, which addresses the follicular plug at the root of acne rather than the inflammation downstream of it.
Tretinoin accelerates how quickly skin cells at the follicle wall mature and shed, so dead cells are less likely to accumulate and plug the pore.
By keeping the follicle clear, tretinoin limits formation of the microcomedones that later become whiteheads, blackheads, and inflamed lesions.
Sustained retinoid use has been studied for its effects on collagen production and pigment distribution, which is why improvements in tone and texture are often reported alongside acne clearance.
Retinoids increase sun sensitivity. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is part of the protocol, not an optional extra.
