HOW LIPOTROPICS WORK
Glucose control.
Lipotropic is a descriptive term for compounds involved in how the liver handles fat. Methionine, inositol, and choline each participate in lipid transport and methylation reactions, and B12 is added for its role in energy metabolism and red blood cell production. This is nutrient support, not a weight-loss drug.
Choline is a structural component of phosphatidylcholine, which the liver requires to package and export fat as VLDL.
As the precursor to SAMe, methionine participates in methylation reactions across liver and cellular metabolism.
Inositol is part of the phosphoinositide signaling system involved in how cells respond to insulin and other messengers.
B12 is a required cofactor in reactions producing cellular energy and forming red blood cells. Injection bypasses the absorption issues common with the oral form.
